Anak bulan terang di langit,

Laut pula hanyut bergelora,

Ketupat lemang dah naik hangit,

Beringat-ingat bila bergembira.

Today is the official day of the announcement of  Hari Raya. My Hari Raya celebration has always been poised. When I was little, I rarely played with firecrackers because of the smoke. I knew it would be detrimental to my health. 

Since my parents were/ are working around the clock, we usually ordered the cakes and biscuits. It was much easier. To tell you the truth, I still believe it does. We still would have big “tauke” giving us free canned drinks such as Coca-cola and Mirinda. I remembered at one time, we almost had 24 crates of canned drinks for Hari Raya. Since it was too much, my parents gave half of the crates to our cousins

.

My point is, in life, it is not easy to be easy and it is not hard to be hard. If you want a healthy and wealthy family, you need to work your heart out. As my father once told me, “ makan gaji” is not enough which I believe hold the truth until now. In this globalized world, the competition is getting fierce. The strong will remain while the weak will be axed.  Therefore, my Hari Raya wish is for my family to remain strong always as they are now and in the future.

In conclusion, have a bless Hari Raya with an open mind for a better future.

“..Selamat Hari Raya..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if the students know that they are not alone in counting the days for the holidays. Even their teachers are doing the same.. Hyhuhyhu..

I am overly excited to spend my first Raya with my Hubby. It would be our first Raya together. We are celebrating in Kuching because our wedding reception at the Hotel needs to be attended to. Our hands are quite full. We have appointments with the wedding planner, make-up artist and photographer. The event that I most anticipated is the pre wedding photo shoot. To be honest, we only have few days to spare. Yet, I believe Hubby and I will make it through like two doves in Love.

Driving Home

PPPHHHHHHHH......Hubby and I are on the way home to Kuching..It’s a long journey to take, about 10 hours. Yet, we love the idea of meeting our family back home..My mama has been waiting for us with 8 different layered cake or “Kek Lapis Sarawak” and “Ikan Terubuk”.  She tells me she is just excited to have her son-in-law celebrating Hari Raya with her. She realizes that her son-in-law loves to eat “Ikan Terubuk”. With such a house, I understand she would be grateful that we come home to her. It would make her less lonely.

To my Hubby,

 thank you for never giving up in pursuing me as the Queen of your Heart <”,>. Seeing you driving has put a smile to my face. You are “ngegeh” but I still Love you. For that is the true power of love; forgiving the ones we love. Drive carefully, sweetie pie..

Singing From The Heart

To tell you the truth, I love Rihanna’s sultry voice. Hearing her makes me believe she feels her songs. It is like the song represents her and not vice versa. Some singers sing because of money, some do it just for fun or passion. Rihanna definitely do it as a part of her soul. She is her song;as  ONE!

**I am truly a fan of Rihanna and all of her pouring-out-the-heart expressive songs**

I am not a fan of Demi Lavato. Since her Disney days , I believe she was just one lucky girl. It all changes when I heard her latest song, “Skycraper”. It was a song of self redemption; that I could rise again after a mighty fall. I am deadly hurt yet I still want to breath. It is such a powerful and motivated song.

**Unfortunately, I am not a fan of her other songs. Just a fan of “ Skyscraper”**

Good News..

Yabedabedabedu...!!!

Hubby's and my prayers have been answered. We finally have a place called home. To be exact, a decent place to be called our own. After months of waiting, I made a bold move to write a "funny" letter to BDA; "Funny" in the sense that I wrote the letter according to the style proposes in "How To Win Friends and Influence People" (Hubby's book). With all of the courage that I have, the letter was written in a manner we might not have ever come across.

Let me illustrate. Instead of denoting we need a better place to say, I wrote down it would be an honour for BDA to have us as their committed tenants. Furthermore, I mention that it is for the benefit of BDA to garner incomes from us.

  The letter is reverse psychology, I think.

Currently, the places we are living in fail to support our life and needs. We pray that our new house could bring us closer and happiness in married life.

Our Akad Nikah (07.07.11)

It was a simple ceremony attended by our families and friends. 

Hubby's families flown all the way from Kedah while mine came from Kuching.

Our colleagues came to support us. 

It moves me to tears to feel their prayers within my heart

 I'm just going to be honest.This moment of waiting was nerve-wrecking.

I could feel the chills in my bone. 

My heart was thumping like a bulldoozer. 

I believe Hubby felt the same way too.

 The recitation of the beginning of our life was very sweet.

The moment he said "Aku terima nikahnya dengan mahar tersebut", I wanted to burst into tears.

I felt grateful that we are on the right track to build a happy family..together..

 Our friends were making jokes while Hafiz and Aida were enjoying themselves

 Alhamdulillah..

My prayers have been answered..

 Hubby was giving me our marriage certificate. 

Truthfully, I realized my responsibility as a wife began the moment he said his "lafaz". 

As he told me repeatedly, he longs for me to be his dearest wife..

Your wish is my command, love..

 It is a beautiful dazzling ring..

 The kisses from Hubby to me were..hmm...funny..

Perhaps, it was due to many people watching our kisses.

Is it just us being embarassed?

 The blessing from our families are of pivotal point

Kids Nowadays

Hm...kids nowadays are full of overcharge energy..The energy is so overwhelming until they do not know what to do with it..This has precisely lead to my situation today.

I would really appreciate if students show more courtesy for and to their teachers.

What happened to the good old value of respect and love?

During my era, we never dared to raise our voice to the teacher.

Eventhough we might diagree with the teacher, we would still keep our heads down.

Miss Azura was my English teacher when I was in Form Five.

With long rebonded hair, she taught us really well in a strict but friendly manner.

Nevertheless, there was once incident when her assigned homework 

was not completed by majority of the class.

She stomped out of the class and did not even came in for a week.

When she finally cool off, the whole class sincerely apologized to her.

I could still picture her smile while she was driving her Rav4 home..

I just hope kids nowadays would be courteous like us.

No matter how you look at it, what is wrong is still wrong.

Admit it.

Then, may you move on..

Forgetful..

Arrgghhh..I'm so forgetful..

The day started well..I was all geared up to design my blog..I am really delighted with the result..

TWO THINGS WHICH I FORGOT :

1) Hubby and I went for breakfast at Selera Kampung. However, it slipped my mind to take wonderful pictures of the food..Being a blogger, pictures or images are of pivotal point to convey one's messages across..Even if I wrote how scrumptious the food was, it would be more believable with companying pictures..aiiissshhhhhh

2) Today is SUNDAY!! Lately, I lost track of time..I seemed to remember today is still Saturday..is it just me or time really do fly fast like a jet? Phheeewwww..

Multi Tasking

It seems that 24 hours are never enough, don't you think? Time seems to be shorten in a way I could not explain..Watching Gokusan in the Multimedia Room, I start to design my blog..Yup, I am feeling it now..My blog is mine..(Let's see how far I could go this time around)..

I know life could be difficult but I love it when you thrive on your own..From scratch, I build my blog..I just could not believe the result..Amazingly cute..Oh yup, I'm going out today for breakfast..Thinking of "Briyani Rice" and cheese cake..I would love to have Cadbury too..

See? I told you I am currently multitasking..wstching movie, blog designing and writing, dreaming of food..

What a wonderful woman..hyhu.

It has been a while

It has been a while since I last posted anything..wait, I meant a lonnnnnnnnggggggggggg while...Life has taken its toll on me..Guess what? I made peace with it..

Shall we forget about life just for a moment? I'm trying to find someone who could decorate my blog..so that i would be more motivated to write frequently. Admittedly, I really miss my life as a blogger..It's a medium of free expression..So, could someone please help me to decorate my blog with glamourous header and glittering icons? That would really reflect who I am..

If my blog is colourfully decorated, i mean to the extend of outstanding and unique, I know I would be really motivated to write every piece of my life..just like a diary..just like what I used to do..Prior to today, it was hard to be online at  Sebauh but now my school is equipped with an average wireless connection..average yet enough for a cute girl like me...huhahuha..

What do I miss the most about blogging? Apart from freedom of espression, I miss the FFFRREEEEBBIIIIEEEESSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could get freebies worth thousands of ringgit..Yes, literally RM10K..Now, when I read my fellow bloggers received free Samsung Galazy Tab 10" from Celcom, I know I had missed the chance to please my hubby..God knows he has been bragging about wanting Ipad..and stuffs like that..If only I was as active as before, I know the SGT would be firmly in my hubby's hands now..Sorry, cutie pie, maybe we will have better chance next time..
